SEVEN CORE VALUES

  • The Word of God is our final authority in all matters of life and ministry. The Holy Bible is God’s written Word; Jesus Christ is the Living Word

  • Our connected groups are a non-negotiable part of building solid foundations and life-changing community. Personal and corporate prayer is an imperative.

  • The Stronghold encourages the release and responsible stewardship of the spiritual gifts and resources of every believer. Training is given to raise and release leaders in all spheres of society.

  • The Holy Spirit is indispensable to right living in a fallen world. Anointed preaching and teaching releases the catalytic power to transform lives.

  • Our leadership approach is empowering in nature market by servant hood. Team being at the heart of all ministries within the body as demonstrated by Jesus and His disciples.

  • Our lives should be marked by passion for God and compassion for people. A word and deed approach to ministry is integral to the integrity of our faith and community.

  • Relationships characteristically marked by love and a commitment to unity. We value and aim to restore and enrich family life as depicted in the scriptures and ordained by God.

  • In one God with three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; He is creator of all things. (Gen. 1:1, Matt. 28:19-20, John 10:30)

  • That Jesus was both fully man and fully God, manifested in the flesh. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God; He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; He died, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven where he is now seated at the right hand of God. He is the Alpha and the Omega, who is, who was, and who is to come. (John 10:33, Isaiah 7:14, Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:35, 1 Cor. 15:3, John 11:25, Mk 16:19, Rev. 2:13

  • The entire Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the infallible rule of faith, conduct and morality. (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)

  • Personal salvation of believers is offered to us by the gift of God's grace, and that only through acceptance of that grace and through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ are we able to be saved. (John 3:16-19, 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Eph. 2:8-10, Titus 3:5)

  • In a literal heaven: a place for the resurrected, saved man to abide eternally with God, and in a literal hell, a place of eternal separation from God. (John 5:28-29)

  • We believe in the sanctification of believers through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, resulting in personal holiness. (Rom. 6:6-11)

  • In divine healing through faith in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in His redemptive work. (1 Peter 2:24)

  • Water baptism is an outward sign of a believer’s inward commitment to Christ (Rom. 6:4-6, 1 Peter 3:21, Matt. 3:11)

  • The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate and distinct event from the new birth, enabling a believer to s peak with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. (Acts 2:24)

  • The gifts the Holy Spirit imparts are fully operational today including the five-fold ministry gifts which are for the equipping of the saints. (1 Cor. 12:8-10, Eph. 4:11-12)
